Jesus Christ and Self-Esteem: Discover Unshakeable Self-Confidence in Christ

The Bible says if anyone believes in Christ Jesus They are a New Creation. Old things have passed away and behold all things are new.
Low self-esteem plagues our society. Everyday we see advertisements letting us know how we have missed the mark with our appearance or not owning the latest trend.
If that wasn't enough, we are our own worst critics. We help these outside influences by confirming their message.
How do we counter act these influences when we are surrounded by them?
We need to take root in an unchanging source of power that we can draw strength and power from.
Opinions from people change. Jobs shut down. Accidents happen without warning.
God is changeless. He lives in spirit and in truth. The job you and I are called to do is trust his plan. Trust what he says about you. Your life and abundance is precious to Him.
Jesus Christ oozed confidence. A New Testament passage in the Bible says that when guards came to arrest him at one particular time they couldn't bring themselves to do it. Why? Because they said they had not seen anyone speak with such authority.
He did not live in the perfect environment. People ridiculed him. They sought to end his life. Yet in the midst of all the turmoil, Jesus carried his message forth.
People believed in his message of love and forgiveness and were drawn to him.
Where did his self-confidence come from? The only unchangeable source: God.
You and I can have the same confidence and authority in our lives when we root ourselves in the unchangeable power and truth of God.
If you are rooted in anything else such as your job title and appearance (the changeable), your self esteem will fluctuate and be unsure once they fade away.
Today, remember who created you and claim your inheritance. Joy and happiness is your birthright. Taking this one step will boost your confidence and self esteem instantly. Try it and see for yourself.
