Better is One Day in Your Presence God

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalms 84:10 (NIV)

You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 31:20
In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.

Psalm 41:12
In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

Psalm 51:11
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

Psalm 61:7
May he be enthroned in God's presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.

Psalm 89:15
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

Psalm 102:28
The children of your servants will live in your presence; their descendants will be established before you.

Psalm 139:7
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?

Psalm 17:2
Let my judgment come forth from Your presence;

Psalm 42:5
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence.

Shout God's Fame- Living a Life of Worship

What's with all this craze of worship?

Worship of the Lord fills stadiums, homes, churches, and hearts with
joy and hope.

Some ridicule this present day worship to God, calling it secular and non-biblical.

The bible has an answer for critics who attack the worshipper for their
style of worship to God. It comes from 2 Samuel when King David
brings back the ark of the covenant back to it's home.

King David leads the procession rejoicing and dancing with boldness
in front of the Lord "with all his might."

Not everyone liked this display from a King with his status, namely his wife Michal.
All she saw was her husband dancing, shamelessly in front of "peasant girls."

Later that day when David met with his wife Michal she voiced her contempt and
disgust for how her husband appeared.

David answered like the man after God's own heart " I dance because of what God has done for me and I will be even more foolish in my own eyes to praise God"- paraphrased

What has God done for you that causes you praise like David?

These worshippers have an intimate experience that's between them and God.

Maybe we have to cast our crowns of pride and bow before the throne of Grace
before we can experience the wonders of His goodness.

I say praise on! Let the world know "How great is our God."

He is knocking at your door because he has a gift that can quench the
desert of your soul, so that you will never thirst again.

Answer your door today. He will never turn you away. After experiencing the
taste of God, you won't turn him loose either.
